Body Language Movement

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before enrolling in classes, purchasing packages or memberships, or attending events at Body Language Movement (“Body Language,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By booking a class, purchasing a package or membership, or attending any offering, you agree to the terms outlined below and on our website.

General Studio Policies

Introductory Offers

New Client Specials are available to first-time clients only and may be purchased once per individual. Introductory packages activate upon your first booked class, are non-refundable, non-transferable, and expire as listed at time of purchase.

Creating multiple accounts to access introductory offers more than once is not permitted. Accounts found in violation may be canceled and charged at full price.

Class Minimums

A minimum number of participants may be required for a class to proceed. If a class is canceled due to low enrollment, you will be notified via email or text and your credit will be returned.

Cancellations & No-Shows

Group Classes (Drop-ins, Class Packs, Monthly Memberships)

  • Cancellations made 12 hours or more before class: no penalty

  • Cancellations made less than 12 hours before class or no-shows:

    • Class credit forfeited

    • Late cancellation fees may apply

Private & Duet Sessions (Reformer or Mat)

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance

  • Late cancellations or no-shows will result in forfeiture of the session

  • Cancellations within 30 minutes of the session time may incur an additional fee

Cancellations must be made through your account or via email. We do not accept cancellations through social media.

Booking & Arrival

  • Pre-payment is required for all classes and sessions

  • Please arrive 5 minutes early to allow class to begin on time

  • Doors may be locked at class start; late arrivals may be marked as no-shows

  • Unoccupied spots may be offered to waitlisted clients

Waitlists

If a class is full, you may join the waitlist. If a spot opens, you may be automatically added up to 2 hours before class start and notified via your selected contact method. Late cancellations still apply once you are moved into class.

Packages & Memberships

Class Packs

  • Valid for the duration listed at purchase

  • Non-refundable and non-transferable

  • Extensions may be granted for documented medical reasons if requested prior to expiration

  • Unused credits expire and do not roll over

Monthly Memberships

  • Operate on recurring monthly auto-pay

  • Include a set number of classes per month (as outlined at purchase)

  • Unused classes do not roll over

  • Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable

Freezes

  • Membership freezes must be requested in writing at least 14 days in advance

  • Minimum freeze: 1 month · Maximum freeze: 3 months

  • Up to two freezes per calendar year

  • Administrative fee may apply

  • Medical freezes may be considered with documentation

Termination

Memberships may be canceled with written notice as outlined in your membership agreement. In cases of long-term injury or illness, termination may be granted upon receipt of medical documentation.

Body Language reserves the right to terminate memberships immediately for inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive behavior.

Events, Workshops & Special Offerings

All community events, workshops, fundraisers, retreats, and special offerings are final sale unless otherwise stated. Missed sessions are not refunded or credited.

Outdoor events may be rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. Refunds are not provided for weather-related changes.

Client Safety & Studio Etiquette

Medical Considerations

Please consult a medical professional before participating if you have injuries, are pregnant, or have health concerns. Instructors may recommend specific classes or decline participation for safety reasons.

Grip Socks

Grip socks are required for certain classes. Socks are available for purchase if needed.

Phones & Filming

Classes are a space for presence and shared trust. Phones and recording devices must remain stored during class. Photos may be taken before or after class only.

Respect & Conduct

Body Language is committed to a respectful, inclusive environment. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior toward staff or clients will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination without refund.

Lost Property

We are not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings.

Pets & Children

Pets are not permitted, except for service animals with documentation. Group classes are for clients 16+. Private sessions for minors may be arranged with guardian consent.

Non-Discrimination Policy

Body Language Movement is committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive space free from discrimination or harassment of any kind. All clients and staff have the right to participate in a respectful environment.
